Detroit, MI (August 15, 2026) – On Thursday, August 13, emergency personnel responded to a severe collision involving a passenger car and a commercial semi-truck on the intersection of E Nevada Ave and Justine St.

Upon arrival, emergency responders located a passenger car lodged underneath the semi-truck trailer. Dispatch reports confirmed that while the car was pinned beneath the tractor-trailer, no occupants were trapped inside the vehicle.

Emergency medical services evaluated those involved at the scene and rendered treatment for sustained injuries. Fire crews and a HazMat Level 1 team were called to the crash site to handle a fuel spill involving approximately 10 gallons of diesel leaking onto the roadway.
