Canton Township, MI (September 26, 2026) – A 42-year-old woman was hospitalized on Thursday, September 24, after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing Warren Rd near Burgundy St in Canton Township.

The crash occurred around 7:14 p.m. A 33-year-old woman was driving a red 2013 Hyundai Elantra west on Warren Rd when the vehicle struck the pedestrian as she crossed the roadway.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Police did not release information about her condition.
